Last updated: 2026-07-03
This Privacy Policy explains how USSE Software, a sole proprietorship owned by Mahmoud Khamis Abdel Naby Mostafa ("Qweira", "we") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data in connection with the Qweira platform. We are committed to processing personal data in accordance with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020) and other applicable laws.
1. Our Role: Controller and Processor
- As a controller: for data about our account holders and their authorised users (registration, billing, and how they use the platform), we determine the purposes and means of processing.
- As a processor: for the Contacts and message content our customers upload and send, our customers are the controllers and we process that data on their behalf and instructions to provide the Services.
- If you are a message recipient and wish to exercise your rights regarding messages you received, please contact the business that messaged you (the controller). We will support that business in responding.
2. Data We Collect
a. Account & identity data
Name, business name, email address, phone number, role, and authentication data for you and the users you invite.
b. Contacts & recipient data (processed for customers)
Recipient phone numbers, names and any profile fields, tags or list memberships that a customer uploads or creates. This data is processed on the customer's behalf.
c. Message & conversation content
The content of messages, templates, media and two-way conversations sent or received through the platform, along with delivery and read statuses.
d. Usage, device & log data
IP address, browser and device information, log-in and activity/audit logs, and similar technical data collected automatically as you use the platform.
e. Billing data
Plan, subscription and transaction records. Card/payment details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
f. Analytics & team-performance data
Campaign engagement and conversion metrics, and — where the customer enables it — agent/team performance and quality metrics derived from platform activity.
3. How We Use Data & Legal Basis
- To provide, operate and secure the platform and deliver messages across Channels (performance of contract).
- To manage accounts, authentication, billing and support (performance of contract / legal obligation).
- To generate analytics, reporting and AI-assisted recommendations for our customers (legitimate interest / customer instruction).
- To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents (legitimate interest / legal obligation).
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
- To send service and, where permitted, product communications; you can opt out of marketing at any time (consent).
4. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your language preference, and secure the platform. We may use limited analytics to understand and improve usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect functionality.
5. Sharing & Sub-Processors
We do not sell personal data. We share data only as needed to run the Services, with:
- Messaging Channels and providers (e.g. Meta/WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS/telecom carriers) to deliver your messages.
- Infrastructure and hosting providers that store and process data for the platform.
- Payment processors for billing.
- Email and communication providers for transactional and notification emails.
- Authorities or third parties where required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety and security.
6. International Transfers
Some providers may process data outside Egypt. Where data is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection consistent with applicable law.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Customer-controlled data (contacts and message content) is retained per the customer's use and instructions; on account closure we delete or anonymise data within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.
8. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, role-based permissions and audit logging — to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify affected parties of qualifying breaches as required by law.
9. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, update or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. If your data was processed by us on behalf of a business (as a recipient), please contact that business.
10. Children's Privacy
The platform is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child's data has been provided to us, contact us so we can address it.
